About LET'S B SAFE
For over 20 years, LET'S B SAFE has been providing "A Unique Approach to Protecting Children and Promoting Literacy," by offering parenting workshops, corporate lunch & learn seminars and in-service training for teachers, law enforcement, parents, grandparents, foster parents, teen parents and children (PreK-12). With an easy-to-teach, research-based approach, the LET'S B SAFE Program teaches children the rules they must know and follow every day while promoting pre-reading literacy skills...all at the same time! LET'S B SAFE also offers a unique child safety and literacy program for private schools and families of faith entitled, "God Has a Plan For You and Me!" Brenda Zofrea, is grateful for the support of so many community partnerships that work together to help protect and educate our most precious gift from God - our children!

Brenda has appeared on the cover of BUSINESS NEWS NJ as a 40 under 40 Award Winner and has worked to help pass child safety legislation (Joan's Law signed by NJ Governor C. Whitman, the Child Predator Protection Act signed by President Clinton and legislation that eliminates the statues of limitations on child sexual assault claims, signed in 2010, by Florida Governor Charlie Crist). She is the past Chairperson for the NJ State special Commission on Child Abuse and Missing Children, Passaic County, NJ. While living in NJ, she founded the K.O.P.S. (Kids on Patrol for Safety) Foundation a 501(c)3 non-profit. Enrollment in this unique and successful program increased ten-fold by its second year!
LET'S B SAFE offers "Lunch & Learn" presentations that have been presented at companies such as Honeywell, Clickbooth, State Farm Insurance, American Home Products, Ingersoll Rand, Wyeth-Ayerst, Deloitte, Atlantic Healthcare, Pfizer, Novartis, United Jewish Federation of NY, Coldwell Banker, Jaguar Corp., Florida Association of School Resource Officers and many others. She also provides Parent/Teacher Workshops, in-service training seminars for law enforcement, programs for youth and civic organizations, classroom-based programs K-12, a teen parenting child safety & literacy program and unique parenting programs for fathers, grandparents, foster parents, single parents and incarcerated mothers of young children.
